"
Hi, I just had to write you and tell you what a joy this puppy is, she's such a sweetheart and so gorgeous, I've had tons of compliments as I've walked her around the hotel she's quite popular! We ran her up to the airport about an hour ago to make sure we could take her on the plane and were told it would be fine... She's such a good baby she listens really well and slept through the whole night. She already seems to know who momma is because I am not allowed to close the door when I go to the restroom or she starts howling! LOL I just had to write and tell you how wonderful she is I am so happy!!!! Also I wanted to ask if maybe you could mail me her papers I forgot all about them and I would like to go ahead and register her. AAAAND I was so excited yesterday I forgot to ask if there is any special care for the edges of her ears. I am so glad to have her she is amazing and thank you sooo much you guys are the best!!!
" +

 "
It's just after 3am but we had to email you guys to let you know what Hope did tonight. She went out for a pee, and began to bark like mad...we thought she was just barking at perhaps some teenagers down below our property...we brought her in and she continued to bark as if something was really wrong, or we thought perhaps a bear around...she wouldn't let up....Hope forced my husband to go have a look outside on our deck and he smelled smoke .....he went around the side to see that the side of the mountain was on fire!!!! 2 houses down the fire was moving quickly ! She saved the lives of people in 2 homes...they were asleep, and are older folks...we cannot believe what an alert system she is!
" +
 "
Another hour or so we figure our home too would have been engulfed in flames!!!
" +
 "
Forest fires in BC can really take off when they get into the tops of trees...Hope was barking while this was spreading quickly through underbrush...this fire could have killed sooooo many people who were asleep and who reside along the forest...around 50 years ago this town did completely burn to the ground due to a forest fire...Hope just may have prevented a similar incident....
" +
 "
I am more grateful for her than I can even articulate....
" +
 "
Kind Regards,
" +

 "
This is Kathy from Valdez Alaska, I just wanted you to know that jazzy is doing very well can't express the love I have for her, she has really become my very best friend. I really can't imagine life with out her, she goes to work with me and yea she even has her side of the bed, my daughter laughs at us. My daughter has really taken to her also, she is so sweet beautiful eyes anyway I really think I would like her to have a play mate, the other dogs she plays with can't keep up she has so much energy she just wears them down she could play for hours non stop, she loves to play down by the river she splashes around, she loves the ocean and the birds. I was concerned she would be to cold in the winter but I was so wrong she absolutely loves the snow can't keep her out of it. I would like to talk to you about getting another dobbie, I was thinking a male this time? Would or do you think Jazzy would take to him?
" +

 "
Hi Paul and Suzan. It finally rained a bit so I have time to send a note.
" +
 "
Jack is G-R-E-A-T! You know, I was a little worried about picking up a 12 week old puppy when we were on vacation, traveling around with a 30' camper but it turned out great. We were never too busy to watch the puppy and learn his signals. And he learned to be quiet when there were other voices (people & dogs) outside of the camper.
" +
 "
He is a great traveler and we plan to take him along in June when we drive to Alaska.
" +
 "
He is growing up nicely....6 months, 69 pounds, and 26 inches tall. He has been in the truck, tractor, pick-up, and car.
" +
 "
He bowls right into me every once in awhile when he is excited about retrieving a ball or toy but mostly he is respectful.
" +
 "
He walks well on a leash without pulling my arm out of the socket. I want that leash relaxed and he does a great job at honoring that. He has a rubber duck that he has had since he was 15 weeks and he gets it for you when you say \"Get the duck.\" He has not been much of a chewer, thank heavens. And we have kept him well supplied with toys and chewies during teething.
" +
 "
His ears look good. He has one that drops when he is tired but generally they stand nice.
" +
 "
Jack sleeps in a nylon pup tent every night. He has lots of room to stretch out as the floor is 4'X6'. Ric just says \"Jack, get in your house\" and he goes right in and we zip the flap shut.
" +
 "
Ric loves this dog.
" +
 "
I will try to get you some pictures soon.
" +

 "
Nina is still growing like a weed!! My guess is she’s about 50-55lbs now. She’s pretty tall but I’m guessing she’s still going to fill out quite a bit. I still bring her to work a couple times a week. She’s definitely my little girl!! I’m working on Debbie to let me get her a playmate…..hopefully this time next year we’ll add to the family!!
" +

 "
Suzan and Paul, Our veterinarian must have said four times she is very healthy, well proportioned, with very nice manners, well socialized as a puppy. We love her so much, she is so calm; our 20 month old boy lies with her. He puts his head on the pup's butt for a pillow. She has never been rough with the kids, she's beautiful.
" +

 "
My wife went out of town right after we picked up the puppy. She has been sleeping in bed with me. She puts her feet in my back and pushes me off the pillow and steals it from me. How much longer will she keep doing that. I love her and she is with me all the time. What a great dog!
" +
 "
Thanks for everything,
" +

 "
Dear Suzan and Paul, For years I have enjoyed the friendship of a well known vet and his wife. He is best known for cropping ears for of various breeds. He is very familiar with the Doberman breed and accustomed to overseeing the health of many show dogs currently being shown. His advise upon hearing that I was purchasing a Super Size Dobie was \"DON'T\".
" +
 "
Even thought he isn't taking new patients, he assured me that he would see our new baby. He is a man of few words, not quick to give compliments and is very familiar with \"show quality Dobermans\". The first time I took our baby to see him (I was expecting to hear \"grunts\" of disapproval), but was pleasantly surprised when he began to smile while examining our puppy. When he completed the exam he said \"I think you should show him, he's a great dog!\"
" +
 "
Two months have passed, my baby and the veterinarian are great friends. He has gone over our boy with a \"fine toothed comb\" and found nothing. Today he announced that our boy is now too large to show in his class, but he still thinks he is a great dog.
" +
 "
Last month a visiting veterinarian, specializing in large breed dogs, took a special interest in \"my boy\", expressing her opinion that \"he is absolutely beautiful\", then wanting to know where he came from.
" +
 "
Now our boy is in obedience school. The trainer keeps telling me he is really smart, ( I never hear him telling anyone else anything). The last lesson his partner, who travels the world showing dogs as a professional handler, walked through the middle of the class looked at my boy (Zipper). She interrupted the lesson and wanted to know how old \"Zipper\" was and where I got him. After finding out how old he was she commented \"he\'ll be bigger than the show standard for sure---but he sure is beautiful\".
" +
 "
I've had the privilege of having several dogs, but none of them have ever stirred up this much commotion!
" +
 "
I just thought I'd let you know, I'm grateful to have him---thank you
" +
 "
Sincerely, Beth
";

 "
Hi, it’s been a while but you're always in our thoughts. Well yesterday was apache’s 1st Birthday. I had to write to tell you how happy we are with our boy. He is getting big and we always get compliments on how handsome he is, the shape of his ears and his big paws.
" +
 "
We adore him. I can’t tell you how happy i am that we bought our beautiful Doberman from you guys. I will call soon send you some updated pictures our best regards.
" +

 "
Sorry it has been so long since i last wrote to you. I just thought i would send you a quick update on Armani, he is doing very, very well. He goes running with me everyday and seems to love it, he is sooooo smart and sweet natured and i am convinced that there is not another dog out there with a better personality, he keeps me laughing, but he is also a big lover (he loves nothing more than to jump up on the couch and watch tv with me). He is getting sooo big its incredible, i suddenly had a moment of realization the other day when i started thinking about just how big he is going to be getting. I will try to write again soon and send ya'll some pictures. I hope everything is going well for ya'll and that the move did not stress you too badly. Keep doing what you are doing, the dogs you are producing are incredible!
" +

 "
he is doing awesome with protection, he is still a little skittish, but i figure he is still a puppy, only 4 months old, so he will grow out of it. anytime that i am walking him at night he DOES NOT like anyone to walk directly towards me. it will set him off barking and circling around me and if the person continues to walk towards me he will firmly place himself in between me and the person.. even people he is familiar with, if they walk towards me or appear threatening at all he will have none of it. but as soon as i tell him its ok, or greet the person he will relax noticeably, although he is still very alert and ready for whatever might happen. i am in love with him, he is the best thing i have ever done and i am so so so happy with him. i will send ya'll pictures and talk to suzan, you will be able to see the ear in the pictures...i think the vet decided that he was done taping the ears before they were really ready. hope you have a great weekend, and thanks again for helping to bring such a loving and incredible dog into my life.
" +

 "
I just had to write this down, just a few hours ago some unknown stranger walked into my home. Since I just got home about 20 minutes earlier and had a phone call from my husband letting me know he was on his way home I thought it was my husband walking in the door. I had just laid our toddler down and was coming down the hall when I heard the door open, about 1 solid second passed and I heard the dogs go nuts just as I turned the corner toward the front door. I saw a stranger with one foot in the door, both large Dobermans were standing less then 3 feet away from this stranger with nothing but jaws and teeth to greet him. I just got a glimpse of him as he was already running away from my house. The dogs I got from you did exactly what you said they would do. Even though the intruder ran and left my front door and gate wide open both the Dobermans stayed with me rather then give chase, which could have left me in a vulnerable position.
" +
 "
When the police arrived they asked me if he looked drunk or lost. I told them that if he was lost he came to the wrong house. The police took one look at Judge and asked if he was a Great Dane, even they were intimidated by his appearance. I have no doubt that my Dobermans protected me from something truly awful. Thank you so much for raising the quality Dobermans that our family can depend on.
" +
